Welcome to Inclusive Massage Therapy of Tampa Bay! My name is Sylver, although some also call me Sheri, my legal name. My goal at Inclusive Massage Therapy here in St. Petersburg is to create a safe space for everyone to encounter the benefits of massage therapy in an environment that caters to their individual experience and needs.
I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2012 and deeply believe in the life-changing power of massage therapy. I also have 10 years of experience working with Functional Doctors, Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Personal Trainers, and the Spa industry. My approach is unique in that each session is fully customizable across various modalities and techniques that are tailored to meet the individual needs of your mind and body in its current state. Therapeutic massage is an essential part of my practice as it aligns with my passion for helping people live comfortably in their bodies by reducing chronic pain, increasing mobility, and improving their quality of life.
My passion for pain reduction and improving quality of life comes from personal experience. I have what is known as Chiari Malformation which is a rare malformation of the cerebellum. This causes brain tissue to extend into my spinal canal and results in a variety of symptoms and discomfort. This has caused me to develop a great appreciation for the benefits of caring for the body and supporting its needs.
My pronouns are she/him/they and I identify as a Queer, Genderfluid person. Feel free to use whichever pronouns resonate with the energy I invoke during our time together. As a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, it is incredibly important to me that Inclusive Massage Therapy is a welcoming environment for others in my community, and allies too! When you’re here, it is my priority that you feel seen and safe. Everyone is welcome. Your pronouns are important so please share them with me. I always aim to provide as much safety and support to my community as possible. In addition to my passion for massage therapy, I am a gamer and a dog parent. I’ve included some pictures of my best guy, Artie McFartie, for your enjoyment. I am also a member of the LGBT Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce and I frequently volunteer with local charities in the community. If you have a fundraiser opportunity, please feel free to email me with the details in the event that I am able to volunteer my time with chair and table massage, or provide gift cards for a raffle.
